Lean Six Sigma has evolved progressively over time from quality efforts within an enterprise that are independent, to complex systems changing the concept from a simple network to complex alliance formation among firms. This evolution has reflected the changes in business operations from static to dynamic environment. The changes created by these transformations present novel challenges and issues to new and established businesses alike. This uniqueness implied an important question about its sources and causes for an optimized effective solution.
